Proofreading:

Do not underestimate what a final check can reveal in mistakes. You will always be glad that you gave your work the final once over. All your hard work can count for nothing if you publish or send material that is not write. Sorry, I mean right.

Proofreading means brushing up your finished material, by:

Checking punctuation
Checking spelling
Checking that it makes sense
Checking for accuracy of language
Checking for consistency of style
Checking consistency of formatting
Checking for consistency of tenses

Copy-editing:

If you have unfinished drafts of written material that need more than a final check, or if you want to say something which is not coming across correctly then you need my editing service, to:

Make your material appeal to a certain audience
Make your material more interesting
Ensure consistency of style
Fact check and research
Make grammatically correct

Writing:

If you need material writing from scratch then just tell me what you want to say and to whom. I'll do the rest. There are often many development stages to go through before final material is produced. You may not, at first, have a clear idea of what you need, or who your intended audience is. Do not worry about approaching me with vague ideas; I will work with you to get the results you need from your written material.
